I’ve spent my career working in animal welfare, helping dogs, cats, and all sorts of animals all over the world. My work has been filled with both incredible joy and heartbreak.

I share with you here thoughts and stories from my work, including memories of rescue dogs that made an impact on me, perspectives on advocacy, and how you can help dogs in need.

Dogs have enriched my life in too many ways to count. My guess is that the same is true for you.

There is so much I want to tell you, and so much we can do to help dogs in need. I hope that one day, we’ll live in a world where every dog has a good life.
